  • Outline

I have been performing basic plasma experiments using the HYPER-I device. In particular, I am interested in spontaneous formation of large-scale flow structure in a magnetized plasma. In connection with this research, I am developing a new laser Doppler spectroscopy method using an optical vortex beam. I am also conducting collaborative study on the irradiation effects of non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma to plant seeds and yeasts with the National Institute for Basic Biology.
