The CITM has been been proposed to explain an intermittent current eruption in tokamak edge region. A response of the CITMs to an externally-imposed flow is also studied. Our numerical simulations show that the growth of a CITM is observed for a relatively small flow velocity (whether a flow is imposed externally or not), bringing out a suppression of the electric current outside the last closed flux surface.
