{"id":4566,"date":"2023-09-01T09:05:11","date_gmt":"2023-09-01T00:05:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unit.nifs.ac.jp\/research\/?post_type=staff&#038;p=4566"},"modified":"2025-01-29T09:55:56","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T00:55:56","slug":"maeyama-shinya","status":"publish","type":"staff","link":"https:\/\/unit.nifs.ac.jp\/research\/archives\/staff\/maeyama-shinya","title":{"rendered":"MAEYAMA, Shinya"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Multi-scale interactions in plasma turbulence<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I develop new methods for massively parallel simulation and physics analysis and study the physical nature of interactions in plasma turbulence involving multiple layers of physical phenomena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Analysis and modelling techniques for nonlinear interactions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I apply and extend mathematical and numerical techniques from the viewpoint of plasma physics, e.g., triad interaction analysis in fluid turbulence theory, Mori-Zwanzig projection operator method from non-equilibrium statistical physics, and multi-fidelity modelling using machine learning.
