Research Paper Selected for Cover of MDPI’s Journal of Atomic Physics
By a group led by Prof. Izumi Murakami, Dr. Shivam Gupta, COE Researcher, has published a research paper in Atoms, an open-access journal published by MDPI, Vol. 11, No. 11.
The journal’s scope is mainly atomic physics, and Dr. Gupta and his colleagues published a research paper on the spectra of krypton measured in plasmas of the Large Helical Device (LHD) at NIFS and the atomic data and spectral model calculations used to explain them. The cover picture is composed of figures of the LHD and the measured and model-calculated spectra from the paper.
