I am mainly working on two research topics. First topic is related to radial electric field in plasma. Plasma, which consists of charged particles, is strongly affected by electric fields. I am researching the effects of the radial electric field on the plasma confinement characteristics, while engaging in research on the development and improvement of diagnostic equipment. The second topic is a research on quasi-axisymmetric stellarators. The quasi-axisymmetric stellar is a device that combines the good confinement performance of a tokamak and the excellent stationarity of a helical. We are working on research to realize it as an experimental device and to carry out proof of principle experiment.
